As we head into the final half term we will be reflecting on our time in Green 5. As such our last few weeks in English will be a reflection and recount of the last year. Before that however we can't resist having a bit of fun so our story will be 'The Dinosaur That Pooped a Princess', one of Mr Preston's favourites.
In Maths we will continue to develop our Number and Shape Sense. We will further extend our learning on measurements of length, weight and capacity and how to find out this information. We'll also continue our work using the 4 calculations with maybe some fractions thrown in too.
Our final half term in science will focus on our Scientific skills and performing some weird and wonderful experiments. As part of this we will take on the role of scientists and make sure we are performing these experiments fairly as well as recording our results.
We will focus on our key skills in PSHE as well as work around understanding our communities. In RE we will look back on our favourite topics this year, we've really enjoyed learning about the different beliefs and cultures from around the world and in our own country.
PE will see us playing a variety of games and sports to develop our multi-skills, hopefully in a bit of sunshine.
Our historic investigation takes us into the times of the Ancient Egyptians and we will continue to develop our Art and DT skills as well as our performance and instrumental skills in Music.
Alongside work that may be sent home, sometimes via Seesaw, we encourage you to engage in discussions with your child and as ever if you need any further support please get in touch. All of us in Green 5 are excited for the term ahead and all the learning we will be engaging with!
